- development of cooperation and spreading of knowledge among the project partners and educational sphere in the field of remote sensing
- development of a network of interdisciplinary teams focused on the use of remote sensing methods with links to foreign institutions of excellence
- development of the use of hyper-spectral, thermal and LiDAR data for both research and applications
- cooperation between the project partners on the development of methods based on remote sensing, for assessment of different types of ecosystems and their parts:
- soil properties
- vegetation cover of selected terrestrial ecosystems
- eutrophication of freshwater reservoirs
- agro-ecosystems and their yield potential
- temperature regimes of various landscape types
- sharing of the research infrastructure both during the project and after its completion
- creation of conditions facilitating continued cooperation in the form of new joint projects after completion of the present project
