• development of cooperation and spreading of knowledge among the project partners and educational sphere in the field of remote sensing
• development of a network of interdisciplinary teams focused on the use of remote sensing methods with links to foreign institutions of excellence
• development of the use of hyper-spectral, thermal and LiDAR data for both research and applications
• cooperation between the project partners on the development of methods based on remote sensing, for assessment of different types of ecosystems and their parts:
  • soil properties
  • vegetation cover of selected terrestrial ecosystems
  • eutrophication of freshwater reservoirs
  • agro-ecosystems and their yield potential
  • temperature regimes of various landscape types
• sharing of the research infrastructure both during the project and after its completion
• creation of conditions facilitating continued cooperation in the form of new joint projects after completion of the present project
