development of cooperation and spreading of knowledge among the project partners and educational sphere in the field of remote sensing
development of a network of interdisciplinary teams focused on the use of remote sensing methods with links to foreign institutions of excellence
development of the use of hyper-spectral, thermal and LiDAR data for both research and applications
cooperation between the project partners on the development of methods based on remote sensing, for assessment of different types of ecosystems and their parts:
soil properties
vegetation cover of selected terrestrial ecosystems
eutrophication of freshwater reservoirs
agro-ecosystems and their yield potential
temperature regimes of various landscape types
sharing of the research infrastructure both during the project and after its completion
creation of conditions facilitating continued cooperation in the form of new joint projects after completion of the present project
